Hybrid Car Rally in Richmond

On Saturday March 21st, CCAN will hold a hybrid car parade around the Capitol Building in Richmond. Help us drive home the message to VA legislators that efficiency is good for Virginia!
Do you own a hybrid? We will rendezvous at a parking lot near the Capitol at 12:30 PM, then begin our parade around the Capitol building in caravan style. The parking plaza is located between Main and Cary Streets, directly across from the Amtrak Station (enter from Main or Cary). (look for the parking plaza). In rendezvous parking lot, organizers will hand out maps of parade route plus decorations and placards for cars that need them.

Don't a hybrid but want to be part of the rally? Meet us at the Bell Tower on the corner of 9th and Franklin Streets in front of the Capitol building at 1:00 PM for a press conference. We'll rally to show our support for the 19% standard and then watch the parade go by.
